Initial Inquiry
No money required:
To START THE INITIAL INQUIRY PROCESS please fill out this form to help us better understand your proposed project. Once submitted, we will evaluate the project and contact you as soon as possible.
Evaluation of Request
No money required:
Task Building cannot provide a quote on every request. We will evaluate your inquiry and let you know if we can take on your proposed project.
On most projects, Task Building can give verbal estimates or “ballpark” figures. As the work we do is very custom, written quotes with accurate pricing can take a considerable amount of time. We will evaluate your inquiry and get back to you within 48 hours.
Site Visit
No money required:
To move forward with an initial estimate, Task will arrange to meet with you at the proposed job site. We will work with you to gather all required information, and do the initial design if needed, to put together the planning budget.
Planning Budget
No money required:
A planning budget is created and presented in person. This planning budget will give you a rough indication as to the cost of the proposed project as discussed at the initial site visit. If the planning budget is approved, we will move forward to the next step.
Site Measure and Retainer
Money required:
Task Building will arrange for a site measurement for permit drawings to be created. At the time of the arranged site visit a retainer must be collected for any architectural drawings to be created. This retainer will cover the pre-construction costs including drawings, permits and any other documents that must be drafted for permit submission.
A Retainer Contract for this phase of the project will be signed. You will be given a copy of the contract in addition to a receipt for payment.
3D Sketch Up Presentation
No money required:
If a visual representation of the design is requested, we will arrange a meeting to present the 3-D Sketch Ups that have been drafted. During this meeting, the homeowner will let Task Building know of any changes to the design that must be done. We do not move to the next phase until you approve the drawings and designs.
If 3-D Sketch Ups are not required, please skip to the next step.
Contract
Money required:
If you approve the scope of work and the decision to go ahead with the job has been established, Task Building will draft up a contract in which both parties will sign. Upon the presentation of the contract a deposit will be collected. Once any necessary permits have been approved by the city/county we will then commence construction on the date stipulated in the contract.
